Why It's Best To Order Flooring Samples First

A photo can be worth a thousand words. But it can't show everything. That's why we suggest our customers first order samples of our Stoneform flooring. Stoneform is designed with realistic variation, depth and texture - so the easiest way to choose your perfect style is to see it in person.

  • Undertones are real. Beige, tan, brown and honey can look totally different depending on your space, color palette and lighting.
  • Texture changes the whole feel. Seeing the true grain of the flooring can impact how you view each style.
  • Your lighting is unique. Natural light, bulb temperature and window direct all impacts how the flooring color will show.
  • It's easier to coordinate. Samples make it simple to match paint, cabinetry, tile and countertops.

Stoneform Samples FAQ

How big are Stoneform samples?

Stoneform Elite and Stoneform Premium samples are 12" wide by 9" deep. Stoneform Select samples are 12" wide by 7" deep. Each foot-long cut is designed to show true color, texture and finish so you can evaluate our styles in real lighting.

Do samples match the full flooring exactly?

Yes! Our 12" samples are cut in our warehouse from full planks of Stoneform, so they'll perfectly match what we sell in full boxes.

How many samples should I order?

While we offer dozens of styles, more customers start with around 3 to 6 so they can have more points of comparison before locking in on a selection.

Can I use samples to match my paint and cabinetry?

Absolutely! We recommend viewing samples next to your cabinets, countertops, paint or paint swatches, as well as furniture, rugs and fabric choices, both in daylight and in evening light.

Do you ship samples across the U.S.?

Yes we do. Stoneform samples are shipped for free, via UPS, all across the United States.
